John A. Wrigley, age 73, of Moneta, died peacefully at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 25, 2015. He was the husband of 25 years of Karen Sue Wrigley. Born on September 6, 1942 in Waterville, Maine, John was a 15 year resident of the Smith Mountain Lake community. He was the son of the late Sidney and Mildred Freeman Wrigley. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Norwalk, Connecticut and served in the United States Air Force. John was the consummate salesman with many years of accolades and awards. In addition to spending time with his wife on many adventures, the most recent a trip this past spring to Switzerland, John enjoyed golf, fishing, swimming and the occasional hike.

In addition to his wife Karen, John is survived by his three sons, Kevin Wrigley of Wells, ME, Keith and Dawn Wrigley of Newton, NJ and David Wrigley of South Riding, VA; two stepsons, Craig and Jennie Little of Burke, VA and Kirk Little of San Blas, Panama; eight grandchildren, Corey, Kendall, Michael, Kayla, Hannah and Lauren Wrigley, Jimena and Valeria Sieralta; and sister-in-law, Carol Wrigley of Connecticut.
