Joel Sage Nardo, 47, passed away on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 in Virginia Beach. Joel was born on October 28th, 1968 in California, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Nardo. Joel worked as a Material Handler for Stihl for 10 years.
Joel is survived by his Wife of 10 years Stefanie Eden Addison-Nardo (Kitten), his daughter Coral Sage Nardo, step-daughter Christina Victoria Marie Caulder and Brothers, Jeff and Mark Nardo.
Joel loved his family, but anyone that knew him for more than 10 minutes can tell you that his love for his family is rivaled by the love of his car, his Corvette. Joel was an 80’s hair band music man, he would pump the music as load as his speakers would let him.
Joel will be remembered as a funny goof ball, always playing jokes, he may have been a bit rough around the edge, but the size of his heart was unmeasurable. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his family, he loved food. But most of all he loved his family, his wife and his daughters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9th, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Heritage Community Church. A Funeral/Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Heritage Community Church 513 Johnstown Rd Chesapeake, Virginia 23322

I did not know Joel very well but I do remember when he and Stef began dating and how much in love they were.
Stefanie would do my hair every week and I couldn’t help noticing the glow in her cheeks and the love in her voice as she spoke of Joel. May he R.I.P. and may God be with Stef and her daughters.
