Josephine Duran passed peacefully at home on September 1, 2018. Born in Morelia, Michoacan in Mexico on August 26, 1937, Josephine was a proud United States citizen. She was a Navy wife and devoted mother to Laura Willey (Joseph), Miriam Duran and Gerard Duran. She adored her grandsons, Jonathon and Patrick.
She loved God and was a charitable person who gave her time to various causes and organizations. She enjoyed meeting new people and traveling.
She will be missed tremendously by her family and all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel at St. Gregory the Great Church in Virginia Beach, on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
