
Josephine Burkholder Wilkerson, 87, of Roanoke passed away Monday, October 27th, 2014 in Roanoke.
Born February 27th, 1927 in Bedford, she was the daughter of the late William Burkholder and the late Ruby McMillian Burkholder of Thaxton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clarence Eddie Wilkerson and by a sister, Betty Ungar.
Her survivors include: daughters; Cheryl Peck and husband Gary of Roanoke, Clare Terry and husband Barry of Lynchburg and Josanne McAfee and husband Bruce of Ft. Meyers, FL; grandchildren: Hunter Peck and Mitch Peck of Roanoke, Brandon Terry of Newport Beach, CA, Ashleigh Terry of Lynchburg and Travis McAfee of Ft. Myers, FL; great grandchildren: Cameron Ashworth and Brooke Peck; brother; Jack Burkholder of Ashburn; and sisters; Dot Wimmer of Boones Mill, Lucy Bower of Ashburn and Ruby Grant of Bedford.
