Judy Kershner passed from this life on Sunday April 1, 2018 from the home of her daughter.

She was born, the oldest of four daughters to Homer and Jewel Smith on October 13, 1941. She is survived by her son Richard Kershner, daughter, Jynnifer Albano, their children and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday April 7th, 2018 at Family Choice Funeral Home 5401 Indian River Rd Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, Judy asked for donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Jynnifer,
    I met you and your mother back in 1985 during my days playing at The Jewish Mother. You were both so kind to me during my visits to VA Beach, and I was sad to see this news of Judy’s passing. I’ve seen the wonderful work that you’ve been doing including your Mission in Africa. I last saw you and Judy in 1986 and it’s great to see the wonderful path your life has followed. I have many fond memories of my time in VA Beach and I’m glad you and your mother were a part of them. Sending my thoughts-
