Karen Kinzey was found late on December 17, 2017 in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the age of 49.

Karen is survived by her parents, Robert Kinzey and Connie Griffith; children, Kayla Kinzey, Corrie Mapstone, Carlie Kinzey and Curtiss Kinzey; brother Scott Kinzey; and grandchildren, Christopher Earle, Rylee Schatz, Logan Schatz, Aiden Schatz and Sophie Schatz.

Karen was born on August 24, 1968 to Robert and Connie Kinzey. She attended Princess Anne High School. She worked many years as a blackjack dealer and auto mechanic. She is remembered as amiable, empathetic, generous, passionate, spiritual, and gifted.

Karen was a talented artist and card player. Her laughter was contagious. She could also binge watch movies like a champ, and spent her whole life searching for happiness.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday, December 29, 2017 at Family Choice Burials & Cremations. A viewing will be held public between 3:00-5:00pm and be succeeded by a formal service beginning at 5:00pm.
