Kathy Ann Bays, 59, passed away on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Bays was born March 31, 1957 to the Dorsey and Margaret Bull in Moyock, N.C. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and camping with family and friends. Kathy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is: devoted husband of 43 years, Sam Bays, Sr.; two sons: Sam Bays, Jr. and Daniel Bays; sister, Margaret “Cookie” Carvell and husband Phil; and a brother, Dorsey Bull, Jr. and wife Judy

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 pm, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. A burial will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 14, 2016 Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Suffolk.
