Kieron Leigh Jones, age 46 of Chesapeake, VA, died on June 6, 2020 after a long 3-year battle with cancer. Kieron was born on October 31, 1973 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland to Robert & Maureen Jones.
Kieron worked at Barnes & Noble as an Assistant Manager from March 2007 until December 2017. He was an avid reader- as reading was one of his favorite pass times. He loved all sports, but especially soccer. He was a Chelsea fan in a Man U. world. He also was a football fan. He loved Kim’s Saints and LSU Tigers. He was converted to a New Orleans Saints fan because of Kim’s love for her Saints, but most people will simply remember him as a Dolphin’s fan.
He loved his family more than anything – they meant everything to him. At the end he would often tell Kim that all he wanted was to see her smile.
Kieron is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Ann Jones, his sons Taylor (TJ) Jones and Braedon Jones; his parents Robert and Maureen Jones; sister Donella Segoviano (Enrique); mother-in-law Linda Yonts; sister-in-law René Dolhon (Michael); nieces, Rea (Jenessa) Segoviano & Aja Segoviano; and his nephews Enrique Segoviano & Devin Dolhon. He is also survived by his second-best friend Gumbeaux. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces.
