Larry Grant Johnson, 65, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Virginia Beach, VA. Born on October 24, 1948 in Kane, PA, he was the son of the late Howard Leroy Johnson and Cora Genevieve Douglas Johnson. Larry graduated from Smethport High School, and continued his studies for two years at Clackamus College. He excelled in his profession as truck driver for Wal-mart for over 20 years. When not on the road, he enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with his family and pets in their log cabin in the woods.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra Ellen Bradybaugh Johnson; daughters, Tammy Johnson Kendeigh and her husband, Raymond, and Yvette Cook Johnson and her husband, Bunky; grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson and his wife, Nicole, Dustin Sadler, Isabella Kendeigh, Aliza Kendeigh Madison and her husband, Shawn, and Angelika Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Ayden Simco, Avery Sadler, Atticus Johnson,and Geronimo Johnson. In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his sister, Jean Donato; and grandson, Kyle Patrick Sadler.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Cummings Funeral Home, 151 Greeves Street, Kane, PA 16735. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013, at 1 p.m., at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s name to the McKean County Humane Society or the O’Shanter United Methodist Church.
