Laurence S. Currie, 84, passed away peacefully July 25th 2021 in the comfort of his home.
“Larry,” as he was affectionately known, was born August 12th 1936 to John and Mildred Currie in Robbins, North Carolina. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals, the North Carolina Tarheels and the Washington Football Team. Although he loved sports, his greatest passion was being with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Cindi Currie; son Stewart Currie; son Adam Currie and wife Olga; daughter Amanda Parrish and husband Justin; and five grandchildren: Jordan and Jackson Parrish, Anna and Callum Currie and Nathan Currie
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Mr. Currie.

    Larry was long time employee of my family
    business, Belair Time Corporation. I know I can speak for all of us, management , staff, customers and all of the jewelry industry. He was kind, generous, and extremely well liked by everyone who knew him.

    He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he Rest In Peace
