
Linda Dale Albertson, 54, of Shawboro, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, September 27. Born January 14, 1957 in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of Sue Darden and the late Harry Johnson.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, horses, drinking coffee, and watching the humming birds.
She is survived by her loving husband, Barry Albertson; sons, David Harrington and his wife, Norma, and Daniel Albertson; a daughter, Michelle Albertson and her boyfriend, Danny; sisters, Carolyn and her husband, George, and Shirley; her beautiful grandchildren, Chase, Hannah, Chance, and Ashley and her husband, Matt; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to welcome all friends to a celebration of Linda’s life at the family’s home on Saturday, October 8, starting at 2 p.m. with a casual service to follow at 4 p.m. Please bring a side dish of your choice and chairs. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate monetary donations to help off-set the funeral expenses.

Barry, Michelle and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Linda was a special part of our lives. We remember the time we spent at the civil war re-enactments and the vacation we took when we went to Chincoteague for the Pony Swim.
