Linda was a fourth generation Rochestarian, a 1956 graduate of the Rochester Business Institute, a real estate broker for over forty years with William E. Browne and Red Barn Properties in Pittsford village. Her passions were family, home, books, music, history, the law, her beloved “fur people,” Syracuse basketball and the New York Yankees. A voracious reader, she was a long-time member of the Jane Austin Society of North America.
Linda was the proud mother of two US military veterans and flew her Navy and Marine Corps flags for all to see. She took delight in her grandchildren and those that she “adopted” in her neighborhood. Her friends and neighbors were cherished and she spoke of them regularly. She was that mom that provided her time, resources and yard for children to play and be cared for.
Linda was fiercely loyal to friends and family, 100% dependable, the epitome of integrity and professionalism, an amazing and dedicated mother and a true lady. She had many sweet days with her sons and their wives and grandchildren during her final months spent in Virginia and was a loving mom until the very end.
Per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Interment will be at her husband’s side in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Pittsford. Those wishing to make donations in her honor are encouraged to support the Perinton Volunteer Fire Department or Lollypop Farm in Fairport.Send FlowersPlant a Tree
