
Louis Roy Kennedy, 54, went to his heavenly home on June2nd, 2017. Louis was born in Norfolk, Virginia on Thursday, June 28th, 1962 to Louis H. Kennedy and Jeanette Spain whom have predeceased him.
Louis was a 34-year employee with the School Bus Garage of Virginia Beach.
He is survived by Lorenzo Louis Kennedy (Son), Denice Pelton (Sister), Diane (Danny) Parker (Sister), Louann Rutherford (Sister) and Yvonnie Kennedy (Sister). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. The family would like to recognize Ruby Harris for her devotion and loving care as a mother.
The Graveside Service will be held at Willow Wood Cemetery in Sandbridge on Monday June 12th at 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or Oak Grove Baptist Church, 691 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457.

RIP Roy. You will be missed by many people. I remember the first time you and I met. You knew I could drive a stick shift but you couldn’t believe that I could drive a 3 on the tree or knew what you were talking about when you asked me. One of the best dang mechanics we had during my time driving.

I am not sure what to say except I LOVE YOU! and having a hard time thanking u are gone. I miss talking to you in the morning and laughing about what is going on. I know in time I may heal with God help. And can not thank you and yvonne enough for surprising me when you guys came here to see me!! I LOVE YOU and miss you.

My Dear friend how I will miss you comming over to sit with you on your porch and talk or just hang out…. it’s very hard for me to write this but Lorenzo and to Roys sisters Roy was not just a mechanic to me he was my friend a man who would help anyone no matter what the first one to say I got you don’t worry,,,, he gave the best advice and was always real,, l should have come by more often than I did but I always kept in touch by calling or texting… I phoned Roy after spring break to go to dinner and he said he was under the weather and would call me……… Roy always treated me with respect and loved my kids he was a man that would make fast friends with anyone and loved to joke around !! RIPARIDISE my dear friend ??Til we meet again….
