Anne B. Parker, 84, of Ferrum passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at her residence surrounded by family.

Born December 8th, 1930 in Butler, GA she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Bone and Lucille Knight Bone. She was a graduate of Montevallo College, Montevallo, AL and was employed as a social worker for children and seniors for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of many years, John Thomas Parker, her grandson, Charles Read Parker and by two brothers, Jimmy and Aubrey Bone.

Survivors include: three children, John Ed Parker, Patricia Adkisson and Read Parker; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Fields.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2015 at Franklin Heights Baptist Church, 110 Hilltop Dr., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Franklin Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 110 Hilltop Dr., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.

    I am Very Sorry For The Loss Of Your Love One I Know How You All Going To Feel During This Sad Time Anne Is Now In A Better Place Now Where Is No More Suffering I Know How Diffcult It Is To Lose Some One You Loved For Many Years Specially Our Time With Us At This Time Of Sadness She Is Home With Her Husband And Now With Her Grandson My Heartfelt Sincere Goes Out To The Family Of Anne She Was Wonderful Specially I Known Her 15 Years And Now Left Behind Many Treasures Of Of Family And Friends If You Need Some One To Talk To Do Not Hesitate To Talk To Me You All In My
