
Magdalene Rachael Lee passed away on February 25, 2023 in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was born on September 29, 1934, to Henrey and Rachel Lee of Mount Olive, North Carolina.
Magdalene cherished her time taking care of her family and raising her daughters. She was married to the love of her life, William M. Lee for nearly 40 years before he passed in 1995. She was a member of Emmanuel Tabernacle of Virginia Beach and Living Waters of Norfolk.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Bettie Kenningtin, and Brenda Guendoo; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters: Sally Harper, Grace Trunage, Margaret Crumpler, and Mary Deese. Magdalene was predeceased by her brothers Felton Lee and James Lee; and her daughter, Helen Scarbough.
Magdalene will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
A celebration of life will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations.

My one and only Gradma.You were the most loving,kindness and caring grandma .I was truly bless to have you in my life.i will always cherish my childhood memories spending time with you,grandpa and my siblings I know how much you loved family time especially Every Friday was Steak and homemade salad night .You loved to cook a delicious meal and you loved a good yard sale and thiftstore shopping .I will cherish our walk to flea market every Saturday when I was a young child.We would get lunch from snack bar.You are at peace in heaven with Grandpa ,My mom ,and my sister care .Until we meet again in my heart you will live
