Mamie Gray Parker, 82, passed away on Thursday, December 15th, 2016.

Mrs. Parker was born November 2, 1934 to the late Jesse and Rola Bass in Fremont, North Carolina. She was a longtime member of Peoples Baptist. Mamie had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. Mamie will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is:three sisters: Nellie Ruth Beebee, Bonnie Webber, Shirley Brantley and numerous extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, W. Gerald Parker; sons, Richard Lee Parker and David Holland; sister, Betty Lewis; and three brothers: Charles, Floyd, and Jesse Bass.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations with burial to follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park.1110 N Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach.
