Margaret N. Bowling, 75, of Virginia Beach,went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2011 at her home. Born July 1, 1935 in Bonsack, VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Nickell.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clifford Allen Bowling, Sr.; a daughter, Katherine Bowling Graham of Bedford County, VA; two sons, Clifford Allen Bowling, Jr. of Virginia Beach, and John Eric Bowling and his wife, Cynthia of Virginia Beach; a sister, Helen Nickell Fariss and her husband, James of Chesapeake; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Richard Bryan Bowling; and a niece, Susan Fariss Dodge.
A memorial service for Margaret will be held on July 16th at 2:00pm at Suburban Christian Church, 5132 Bellamy Manor Drive in Virginia Beach, Va.

Dear Bowling Family: I read about the loss of Mrs. Bowling in the obituary today and I wanted to express my sympathy. As humans we want to live, and we want to enjoy life with those we love, it is only natural that we yearn to see our dead loved ones again, so its comforting to know that the Bible teaches that most people who have died will be resurrected. The Bible promises this at John 5:28,29 which in part reads:”Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life,”. Your family will be in my prayers, my sincere condolences.
