Margaret Jeanette LaRocco, 75, passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2014 in Norfolk, VA. Born on December 29th, 1938 in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Anna Lassiter. Margaret was a graduate of Maury High School in Norfolk and later worked as an Accounting Clerk for Norfolk Paint Company and later at Lombart Instruments. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia and her husband, John Jones, Jr., Linda LaRocco; son, John LaRocco and his wife, Donna; two grandchildren, Jazmin LaRocco, Tony LaRocco; and great-granddaughter, Nazariah LaRocco.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014, 5:00pm, at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations.

I worked with Jeanette for many years at Norfolk Paint and remember enjoying laughing with (and yes, sometimes at) her. 😉 I am saddened by her passing and hope that it was painless.

Lee and I were very sad to hear of your mom’s passing. Have fond memories of our bowling together and where I worked closely with your mom at Norfolk Paint. She loved you all dearly and always spoke fondly of you and the grandkids. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
