Marion Earl Willis, 88, passed away on October 28, 2012 in Chesapeake. Born on January 21, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry and Nettie Willis, and devoted husband of the late Anna B. Willis, to whom he had been married for 69 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, he retired from Civil Service.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Griffin and her husband, John, and Diane Ingram and her husband, Daniel; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Chesapeake Place and Medi Home Hospice.

Services and interment will be private.

    On behalf of my parents and family, we are truly sorry to hear of Mrs.and Mr. Willis’ passing. They were wonderful friends and neighbors to my mom and dad. I will always remember the beautiful Christmas village that they set up each year. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
