
Marquita P. Guinoo, 84, passed away on January 9, 2011. A native of the Philippines, she was the wife of the late Felix C. Guinoo. She attended St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. She and her late husband founded the Salinas Association of Tidewater. Mrs. Guinoo was a wonderful cook and enjoyed listening to her favorite music.
She is survived by seven sons, Marito Guinoo and his wife, Nelly of Norfolk, Efren Guinoo and his wife, Pat of Port St. Lucie, FL, Ronaldo Guinoo and his wife, Ludy of Buena Park, CA, Bernardo Guinoo and his wife, Anna of Rosario Cavite, Philippines, Generoso Guinoo and his wife, Mimi of Corona, CA, Marcelino Guinoo and his wife, Rosemarie of Virginia Beach, and Felix Guinoo, Jr. and his wife, Jane of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Ricamor Guinoo of Portland, ME; a brother, Basilio Prudente of the Philippines; a sister, Marcelina Pugeda of NJ; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach. Interment will take place in the Philippines. Please share a memory with the family via the online guestbook.
