Martha Jane Lawson, 74, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at her residence. She is survived by five children; Patricia Andrews of Roanoke, Sheila and Dale Bender of PA, Chuck Lawson of Winchester, John Lawson and Diana Tumblin of Stephen City, Joe and Cheryl Lawson of Front Royal; seven grandchildren, Brandy and Gary Doss, Ashley Lawson, Jennifer Bender, Carla and Caleb Lawson, Jessica and Dustin McGee and Melissa and Edward Reitenbaugh; four great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Coulter Doss and Elizabeth and Emily Reitenbaugh; a very special niece, Mary Huffman; two nephews, Kaleb Huffman and Ayveon Wrisborne; sisters, Sandra Moore and Dorothy Roberts; two sisters-in-law, Blanche Huffman and Shirley Jones; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. You are gone but not forgotten.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at New Zion Union Church Cemetery, Waiteville, WV, The Family will receive friends at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, 4922 Valley View Blvd. N, Roanoke from 6-8 pm, Friday, October 3, 2014.

    We are so very sorry to hear of Martha’s passing. Hold on to the fond memories of her and know that she is resting with the Lord. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of loss.
