Mary Elizabeth Capps, 75, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Mary was born on July 2, 1938 in New Haven, CT to the late Edward and Catherine McCormack. She moved to Virginia in 1963 when she married Charlie Capps of Norfolk.

Mary was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed extensive travel with her husband Charlie, making it “home” to Ireland on numerous occasions.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Charlie in 2002. Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Neal and Mark Capps and granddaughters, Meghan, Casey and Colleen.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations with a graveside service to be held at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Please share your condolences with the family at www.familychoicefunerals.com

    Please accept condolences from the entire Johnakin family. Your mom was such a huge part of us growing up at Blessed Sacrament School. She always had a smile on her face. Our prayers are with you.
