Mary Ellen Dubina, 77, passed away peacefully at home in Maple NC, surrounded by her loving family, on March 29, 2014. Born October 1, 1936 in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nickolas Dubina and Mary Urista Dubina. Mary had a successful career as a secretary at the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Later she served as a secretary at Park Place Methodist Church in Norfolk, VA. When not working, Mary enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a vibrant, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and loved to listen to Christian music – both hymns and contemporary praise. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shari Danielson and her husband, Scott of Minneapolis, MN, Marcia Wojzic of Virginia Beach, VA, and Christa Tipton and her husband, John of Maple, NC; a son, Gerald Manolas of Virginia Beach, VA; and grandchildren, Tori, Dorian, James (J.J.), Avalon, Stella, and Sophie.
