Melissa May Ivey of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on February 22, 2017 at the age of 43.

Melissa was born to parents George and Sharen Kemmerer on September 15, 1973 in Newton, New Jersey. She grew up the eldest of two and attended First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, George Kemmerer.

She is survived by her mother, Sharen Kemmerer; grandmother, Doris Dergamino; sister, Brandi Lea Kemmerer; daughters, Amanda Warnock and Hayley Ivey; son, Shane Ivey, Jr, son-in-law, Kevin Warnock; grandchildren, Rhesa Warnock, Reilyn Warnock, Blaton Finnegan and Raiden Warnock and an extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

    I am so sorry for the families loss of Melissa.She was a wonderful fun loving woman. There is nothing worse then losing one of the most important people in your life. She will be missed dearly!
