Michael Wayne Dixon, 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 in Chesapeake. Born on August 31st, 1947 in Norfolk, he was the son of Albert and Mary Dixon. Michael was a veteran of the United States Navy, and served during the Vietnam War.

Left to cherish his memory are: his brothers: Stanley (Sharon) Dixon of Bowie, MD, and Glen (Vicki) Dixon of Knotts Island, NC; nieces: Susan (Pat) Bradberry of Gambrills, MD, Tina (David) Cason of Knotts Island, NC, and Mary Dixon of Virginia Beach, VA; and his caregiver, Mary Wade of Chesapeake, VA.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Knotts Island United Methodist Church on 677 Knotts Island Road, Knotts Island, NC 27950.
