Michael Anthony Nobile, 58, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Virginia Beach. Born May 27, 1955 in New York City, he was the son of the late Liborio W. and Lillian Fursow Nobile. He was a painter and enjoyed watching NASCAR, specifically Mark Martin.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle A. Nobile of Virginia Beach; two sons, Joshua M. Voller and Alexander M. Nobile, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Anna Marie Nobile of Virginia Beach and Barbara Flora of Spring Hill, FL; a brother, Joseph Nobile of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th at 7 p.m. at Kempsville Presbyterian Church, 805 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach.
All friends and family are welcome. Please “Come just you are.” Michael was a hardworking, hands on blue collar worker. There is no need to get dressed up. He was always in a pair of old jeans or still wearing his painting clothing. He was not one to ask somebody to go out of there way for him. So please, “Come just as you are.”
There will be an informal gathering of family and friends right after the service. So please stay an share a word or two. Light refreshments will be served.
Please share a memory with the family by using the “Condolences and Tributes” tab.

My sincerest condolences to the family. Took me a little while to gather my thoughts as I still find it hard to believe that I have lost my very best friend ever. I loved Mike like a brother. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. It was with great regret that I was unable to make it back to the service but I thank my Father for attending on my behalf. Please know that I was there in heart and spirit. Josh, Michelle, and Alex – Please feel free to contact me at anytime if you ever need anything or just want to talk. May God bless you and I love you all. – Steve
