
Michelle “Missy” Marie Bloxsom Widger, 47, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on December 12, 2022. Michelle was born on August 22, 1975 in Newport News, Virginia to Connie Lee Morris and Robert Samuel Bloxsom.
Michelle dedicated her life to her family. Michelle loved to be in nature hunting whitetail deer and spending time with her grandchildren. Michelle also enjoyed participating in Find A Grave and Ancestry community and spent many years finding her family’s history. Michelle loved doing crafts and making custom and personalized items for her friends and family. Michelle had some of the best memories riding her daddy’s motorcycle with her husband, Chris. In Michelle’s early years she was very outspoken and she was everyone’s friend, she loved playing the clarinet in the Middlesex High School Band.
She is survived by her husband of 8+ years, Christopher S. Widger Sr., the love of her life, and daughters Rebecca Baber Thompson and husband Matt Thompson of Middlesex County, Virginia, Victoria Baber and fiancé Giovanni Colon of Yorktown, Virginia, Samantha Lane of Suffolk, Virginia, and Catherine Grow of Lexington, Virginia. ; Her 7 grandchildren, Skye, Luna, Jr, Freya, Kenneth, Raevyn, and Nicole. Michelle is preceded in death by her Mother (Connie Lee Morris) and Father (Robert Samuel Bloxsom).
Michelle will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother “That Grandma Lady”, friend, and one of the best deer hunters her husband has ever met.
