Minnie Burns Shelton, 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Virginia Beach. Born December 29, 1923 in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Nannie Dalby Burns (Reynolds).

She is survived by two sons, Jack Shelton and his wife, Phyllis and Thomas Shelton and his wife, Karla; two daughters, Nancy Jacobs and her husband, Earl, and Diane Siegel; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4650 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk. Interment will be private.

    Diane,Jason, Melissa and family, So sorry for your loss. Minnie (Mamaw) was so sweet and dear to our family. A lady of such grace could only have been an Angel here on earth. You are all in our hearts and prayers. Jack & Debbie Schroth
