
Minnie Wright, 92, passed away May 3rd.
She was predeceased by her husband Spencer. She is survived by her daughter, Debra and husband Frank of Virginia Beach, a son Richard Wright and wife Nancy, and grandchildren Matthew, Mariah, Spencer, Kaiya, Clifford, Kenneth and Onyx and a great-grandson, Will.
Minnie was a lover of nature, especially birds that would show no fear of her and come to her window to be fed. She was an avid fan of the New York Mets and found great satisfaction in taking care of others. She also found time to volunteer her time and talents with the Job Corps and the United Nations.
The family will meet with friends on Sunday, May 6th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, 5401 Indian River Rd. in Va. Beach.
The family requests memorial donations in Minnie’s name to Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia. 6401 Auburn Drive, Va. Beach. 23464 Attention Claire Roth. The family would also like to thank the staff of Beth Sholom for their care of Minnie.

Min was a “giver”..of love, of fun, of possessions, as well as a talented woman in writing, art, and many areas of life. She was a major influence in my life, and will be missed..
