Miriam Ann Campbell, 93, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Norfolk, Virginia. Born on October 22, 1924 in Emporia, Kansas to Aaron and Grace Hulse, she had 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Her parents and son, Donald Lee Campbell, preceded her in death.
She is survived by Donna Fuleihan, daughter (Dave), Glenn Campbell, son (Vicki), grandchildren Eric Withrow (Melissa), Matt Withrow (Jazmin), Brian Campbell (April), Gina Rafalski (Chris), and great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Benjamin, Dakota, Ulrich, Leif, Grady, Vaughan, and Angelina.
Miriam was gifted in many ways and loved trying new things–a quiet legend. Her business acumen and success allowed her to travel globally. She loved her children and grandchildren and inspired them to always persevere. Her generosity and determination were boundless.
A celebration of life service will be held May 26, 2018 (6:00pm) at 1370 Hillandale Rd, Norfolk, VA.
Miriam’s family is exceedingly grateful to Excellent Care I, a private residential senior care home, which nurtured Miriam over the last 5 1/2 years. They exemplified God’s perfect love and paid attention to every minute detail of Miriam’s care with joy, grace and respect.
Also, many thanks to the Kindred Hospice Care staff, especially Pastor Abel and nurse Jason.
