I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day. But missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain, you see life has gone on without you, but will never be the same. Love, Dad

Mr, Bateman (Pops), Bruce, Brucey, Aaron, Julian, Jesse and Jessica my heart aches for you all for the loss of little Joey. I pray you all find comfort in the thought of knowing that he’s now at peace both physically and mentally and reunited with your momma and Nanny who I know was waiting for him with open arms. Someday we will all be together again and have a huge reunion in Heaven. Until that day, I pray you all can find peace in your hearts. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Joey was a sweet kid and he will be missed by all of us. Until we meet again. Rest In Peace little nephew. I love you forever!
