Please know that God is watching over you and your family and His presence should give you courage and hope. May that hope strengthen your hearts and remind you that you don’t have to face your problems and sorrows alone. May you be blessed with many good memories.
Ernie & Jenny, friends of L.B. and Sandi
Sending my deepest sympathy to my friend and co-worker, LB Harden and family. In this life, none of us has the answer for everything that happens to us or understand why God does what He does. However, God is still good and “Loves the world” (John 3:16). To mourn and grieve is healthy. Its God’s way of helping us to react to the shock of death. Jesus said, “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). Jesus Himself wept at the grave of Lazarus (John 11:35). God will comfort all who accepts Jesus Christ as Savior. I’m praying with and for you all.
I have been a co-worker of L. B. Harden for 30 years. May God Bless your family and watch over them and give them peace.
Mryon was a dear friend and coworker and was always helpful when we needed him. God Bless him and his family.
I am so very sorry for your loss, he will be surely missed by many. Fiona Baxley – BayPort Credit Union
SMITTIE WAS MY SON-IN-LAW. MY FAMILY AND HIS FAMILY WAS AS ONE. WE ALL LOVED EACH OTHER THROUGH THE GOOD TIMES AND THE NOT SO GOOD TIMES. HE AND I SHARED MANY GOOD TIMES. I WILL MISS HIM GREATLY. HE ALWAYS HELPED ME WHIN I NEEDED IT AND I TRIED TO DO THE SAME FOR HIM. THE LAST TIME I TALKED TO HIM HE WAS TROUBLED AND I TRIED TO CONSOLE HIM. HE THANKED ME AND SAID I LOVE YOU POP AND THE LAST THING I SAID TO HIM WAS I LOVE YOU TOO. IT GIVES MY HEART GREAT JOY TO KNOW THAT I TOLD HIM THAT AS THAT WAS THE LAST THING I SAID TO HIM. I WISH HE DIDN’T HAVE TO LEAVE US SO SOON AND AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE, BUT WE DON’T ALWAWS GET WHAT WE WONT. WE MUST LIVE OUR LIFE TO THE END THE SAME AS HE DID, IT LEAVES A HOLE IN OUR HEART THAT ONLY TIME CAN HEAL, BUT WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. LOVE, PAP PAP.
MYRON SMITH, HOW QUICKLY THINGS CAN CHANGE iN ONE’S LIFE. HERE TODAY AND GONE FOREVER. LOSING A FRIEND IS ONE OF LIFES SAD THINGS. ALL THE MEMORIES WE SHARED I THANKYOU FOR THAT. TOO QUICKLY DO WE LOSE THINGS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN,BUT YOU HAVE MOVED ON AND I WILL MISS YOU ,AND I WISH YOU WELL. ALWAYS LARRY BOUSH
I didn’t know if I would ever be able to write on here but I guess today seems like an ok day.Smitty, You were & will always be the love of my life..we had our ups & downs like anybody but we loved each other so true & deep. I miss you desperately & so do your children. There was a hole in your heart that could never be filled….no matter how hard we tried. You were surrounded with love, warmth, compassion, family, understanding, humor and alot of craziness!! God Bless you sweetheart..since the day I met you, you have had health problems & you just couldn’t catch a break. We’ve been through thick & thin..just didn’t think it would end like this…it still doesn’t seem real to me..You don’t know how many times I have picked up the phone to call you…But, I actually feel you here with me, really. It’s like you are watching over me & the girls. Sophie starts barking for no reason & just staring into a blank space & I know it’s you….she’s your girl & I know she see’s you….You were & will always be a well respected professional, father, husband and best friend. If I could have taken all your pain away for you I would have, in a heartbeat. Your girls miss you, I miss you, Jeremy misses you, your friends & family miss you & I know your customers will miss you….Sweet dreams Smitty & finally Rest In Peace…..True Love Always & Forever, Stephanie

Uncle Melvin, I never imagined me writing to you in these circumstances. I want you to know how much I love you and looked up to you. Everytime you would come down it would be nonstop laughter and you always knew how to cheer someone up with your humor. My dad loves you so much and I know he thinks about you everyday. It hurts me very deeply that you had to go in this way. I know you only met my son Kevin a few times but he talks about you everyday all day. He tells me you come to him in his dreams to tell him you love him and when hes playing it always has something to do with you, whether hes playing with other friends or not. I know you are here with us because when he first saw a picture of you he didnt recognize you. I just want to say we all love you more than you even know. Rest In Peace Uncle Melvin..you will never be forgotten..never!!
