Nancy Helen Flora, 56, passed away on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 in the comfort of her home.

Nancy was born November 9, 1959 to the late William Dimitro and Helen Gordon in Arlington, Massachusetts. She was a nurse for many years and deeply loved helping people. Nancy’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Nancy will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 27 years, Scott Flora; two daughters, Courtney Flora and Nicole Flora; brother, Kenneth Walsh and wife Lorna; two special cousins, Shirley Rennie and Alita MacElhiney and numerous extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations 5401 Indian River Road in Virginia Beach.

    All – First of all I wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy came back into my life last year when I needed a friend and some one to talk too. We shared many memories about family and consoled each other on our health issues. I will never forget Nancy’s laugher or her voice. She will remain with me in my heart forever.

    I apologize that I cannot be there in person for her memorial. However, I will be there in thought always!!
