Such a wonderful man who always had a kind word for everyone. He and Lucy made such an impression on me as a teenager. My prayers are with you all.
I had the privilege of knowing & working with “Buddy” for 9 years while at William E Wood @ the Mall. He always had a kind word and a bright smile for everyone he met. He will be missed but will always be remembered.

To Buddy’s Family…So sorry for your loss. I had a real estate transaction with Buddy and it was probably one of the most enjoyable real estate transaction I’ve had during my career. Buddy was professional, kind, honest and hardworking. He got the job done and you enjoyed working with him. He will always be smiling down on you.
I too had a deal with Buddy many years ago and after that whenever we ran into eachother it was like running into an old friend. He will be missed.
I was @ the Mall years ago! Buddy was such a delight! He is missed so much! Loved working with him & love his family! Thanks for helping with that wallpaper!! xx
Lucy & family,
We are so sorry to hear of Buddy’s passing. Please know that we are with you in spirit and our thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful man and we will always cherish our times with all of you at the ranch.
If it were not for Buddy, we would not be living in this house today. He was truly the “Happy Man” always. God bless you Lucy and all of your family, he’s dancing in heaven watching over everyone.
Always a smile with the scrunchy nose, a gentle word for all, a loving heart and gentle spirit. That is the Buddy that I knew and will miss – The Happy Man
Plus his great sense of humor – never will forget his performance of Grease or his hula dance including coconuts!
Scott & Family,
We would like to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. His legacy lives on through his family. All of you are in our prayers!
Lucy and Family,
Buddy was one of the best men I’ve ever known. For the years we worked together he filled my life with joy and laughter every minute.
I feel truly blessed to have called Buddy Sprouse my friend and work partner for so many years.
Our deepest sympathy.
Lee and Kathy
I will always love my “Uncle” Buddy, and will forever be grateful for the love he showed me when I was little. He was The Happy Man, The Big Kahuna, and the ugliest woman I ever met. He made such an impact on me as a child and taught me that you’re never too old to be silly. He will be missed.
I can’t imagine Thursday mornings with out Buddy’s smiling face and warm hug to start my day. Miss Lucy and Buddy are my storybook couple….the love they shared could be felt by anyone who had the pleasure of their company. They are what every young couple hopes to become in marriage. My heart goes out to your family and you are all in my prayers.
With Love,
Charity
Dear Lucy and Family,
We were very sad to hear about the loss of Buddy. We have such fond memories of the times we spent together at Salem UMC. Though we were unable to attend his service, know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Sharon and Terry
I will miss Buddy! Because of his positive attitude and genuine kindness, everyone enjoyed being around him. He was also a capable man who accomplished a lot. May God be praised for his life well lived.
One of my very first transactions as a Realtor was with Buddy….The Happy Man, indeed. Also a true professional. I was fortunate to have had several with him. I will enjoy my fond memories and remember his smile.
My love to all of you. May the Lord fill this void that has been left in your lives, with his presence and with the wonderful memories you have shared. Buddy was a great blessing to our family during the time you all were stationed here in Panama City, Florida on the Coast Guard ship Dependable. We will forever hold a special place in our hearts for him as well as all of you wonderful Sprouses. Looking forward to seeing you all some day and meeting the growing family. Be sure to give hugs to each other for us. Our love andour prayers, Susan(&Randy)Dula
