Norma Earl Old, 92, passed away on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Norma was born on April 3rd, 1925 in South Norfolk she was the daughter of Earl and Mattie McPherson and wife of the late Mack Old.
She is survived by Marguerite (Joyce) Newton, Sister; Russell McPherson, Brother; Daughters, Jeannie Old. Bertie (Teenie) Miles, Dolores Rhodes (Petee) and Ellen Lewis. She also survived by 8 grandchildren. 17 great grandchildren. 2 Great great grand children
She was preceded in death by Laura Judah, Doris Adams, Floyd McPherson, David McPherson, Bertie Lee McPherson, Barnard Lee McPherson, Charles Gene McPherson (Spanky).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations 5401 Indian River Road Virginia Beach, Virginia 23464. A graveside service will be held on July 19th, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, Virginia.
The family would love to give a special thanks to the Currituck House, Comfort Care and all nurses that gave her their special care, including longtime nurse Claudia.

    Rest in peace Aunt Norma, you will be missed but this is not good bye but until we see each other again! Prayers for all the family. love you!

    I’m sorry for the loss of your loved one. It is comforting to know that your loved one is alive in God’s memory, God never loses sight of them. (Luke 20:38)

    Also it is comforting to know of the time when God promises to end death forever. (Rev 21:4)
