Patricia A. Brockman, 85 of Virginia Beach, passed away June 21st. She was the daughter of James and Anne Abercrombie of California, PA. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Homer S. Brockman, Jr. and a son William Brockman. She is survived by her daughter Dana; sons Paul and James and a sister Ruth Emler. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on June 28 at 7pm at Lynnhaven Colony Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 2217 West Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach.

Mom, I am so grateful for your many talents that you passed on to us. I love the sense of humor our family has. It serves us well. I wouldn’t trade the 18 months you lived with us for anything. It was my pleasure to spoil you. Thank you for raising us to be problem solvers and strong, independent people. I love that I was your favorite daughter…I know, I was the only daughter…I love you and I always knew how much you loved and appreciated me. I will forever miss you… until we are reunited
