Patricia Ann McGary, 54, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 10th, 2018 in the comfort of her home.
Patty, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends was born to the William and Ruth Lauderbaugh in Newark, Ohio. She was a longtime educator, working with children with special needs and was a principal with SECEP until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed running, swimming, yoga and was recently training for an Iron Man Triathlon before becoming ill. Patty will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt and great friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are: sons, Christopher McGary and wife Alexandra of Virginia Beach, VA and Benjamin McGary of Lewiston, ME; sister, Michelle Lauderbaugh of Mexico; and longtime companion, Ned Jackson of Chesapeake, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
