Kempsville Public Library staff members were saddened to hear of the passing of our longtime customer, Paula. Paula was an active library member for many years. We will miss her smile and pleasant “Hello” as she walked through our doors. Our prayers of sympathy are extended to her family and friends.
Praying God’s continued grace and mercy as he holds you through your great loss of Paula. She is an angel shining down from above who will stay in your hearts forever. My condolences for the family and friends through this difficult time.
I enjoyed our many conversations regarding family, friends, weddings, gymnastics, scouting, cooking, books, sewing, and the dogs. Paula possessed a hardy voice and a hardy laugh. One of our first conversations was about her love of the color purple and the Pittsburg Steelers. It was a blessing to work with Paula and I appreciated her conscientious work ethic, candid responses, honest opinions, and sage advice. It was good to have a friend at work. I will miss her. My heartfelt condolences to Dave, Penny, AJ, Bella, and the entire family.
2 Corinthians 5:1–8
“Now, He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord”
