Renee Marie Bowling, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022. The daughter of Joan and Phillip Schuyler. She was born on Dec. 30th 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is predeceased by her mother and her daughter, Samantha. She is survived by her sons Robert and Brandon Bowling, her father, sister Robin Whitehurst, and brothers Steven, Scott, and Stewart Schuyler. She had numerous nieces and nephews as well as an extended family of friends.

Renee loved to play cards and the family loved her food such as potato salad, which was requested at every family gathering. She always had a great smile and would light up a room wherever she went. She remained in constant motion even in the final days of her life. She could make a friend with just about anyone and was always there to lend a hand. Renee was a fantastic mom, friend, and person, she will be missed and will always be loved.

    I met the Bowling family when Bebe lived next door to me. Renee was always a delight to know. When they moved to Portsmouth, I went to several parties held at their home. The food was always delicious as most of it was prepared by Renee. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I know she will be missed and loved by her entire family.
