
Rose Marie Schneider Hollingsworth Biggs, 82, passed away peacefully August 29, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
“Bunny,” as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was born May 14, 1931 in Oil City, PA—one of fourteen children—to the late Charles and Elizabeth Schneider. Her greatest passion in life was her family. A single mother, Bunny independently raised six children in Wilmington, DE. She also enjoyed dancing, music and lengthy telephone conversations.
Left to cherish her memory are: two sons: Rick Hollingsworth and wife Lisa, Randy Hollingsworth; four daughters: Sherry Scaruzzi and partner George Schorah, Debbie Hammond, Cyndee Claphanson and husband Chuck, and Heather Onizuk and husband Kevin; brother, Jerry Schneider and wife Mary; sister, Barbara Hogue; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
To celebrate the life of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; a private family memorial will be held at the end of the month. The family appreciates and thanks everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
