Dear Debbie and Family,
My husband Ken told me last night when he returned home from doing my mom’s laundry (Betsy Bernier that my mom told him that your mom had passed. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of my moms first friends when she move to Sentara Village. I got to you know your mom pretty well. I always looked forward to seeing her every time we went to the village which was once or twice a week she was always cleaning down the tables dusting and working !I have some pictures of your mom that I took over the past two years that are very happy to email to you.I have not been to the village in almost a month I have had pneumonia and it returned , so I couldn’t go back to see my mom. It definitely will be difficult going back knowing Rose won’t be there she lit up the place. I can’t believe your mom is 91! (my mom is 73. And in the final stages of PSP similar to Parkinson’s disease but once diagnosed much faster onset which paralyzes the body). I feel very happy to have had the pleasure of knowing your mom. She just made everything more beautiful. All five of my children know your mom very well “by name “So, we will see miss seeing her and talking. Sometimes I would end up talking with your room for possibly up to 30 minutes! She shared some wonderful stories about growing up and I enjoyedi listening to her especially her laugh. It was adorable.
. We plan to be at Star on Saturday at the church for her memorial coincidentally — it is The church we were married in back in 1987. I know your mom will be greatly missed and she was loved by many people that work there and I know she will be missed by so many including me and my family — Ken Renee Ellen Emily Jayne John and Sam Carlson ~ with much ❤️ For your Mom?
