Royce Rogers Pendergrass 72, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2014.

Ms. Pendergrass was born June 9, 1942 in Hampton, Virginia to DeWitt and Lena Mae Rogers. She retired as a Registered Sales Assistant from Davenport & Company in 2006. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Timothy Pendergrass and wife Tammy of Smithfield; her daughter, Xandra Burnette and husband Brent of Virginia Beach; one granddaughter, Amanda Pendergrass; a nephew, Allen Rogers; and a loving companion, Anthony Russo.
The family would like to thank the staff of Harbourway at Atlantic Shores for all of the wonderful care given to Royce in her final days.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Rd in Virginia Beach. A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1600 Colonial Ave in Norfolk.
