
Ruby Johnston, 64, of Virginia Beach, passed away Wednesday, August 31. Born February 5, 1947 in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Katie Miller. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed collecting bells and angels, listening to Alan Jackson music, and watching “The Price is Right”.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Frank Johnston; son, Scott Johnston; daughter, Angela Johnston and her daughter, Kayleigh; brother, Maynard Miller; two sisters, Jenny Miller, and Joyce Hershberger; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, 5401 Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Albert Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milner’s Road, Suffolk.
