
Ruth W. Culpeper, 88, years old went to heaven on March 12, 2014. Ruth will be remembered as an exemplary wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her born again Christian life has assured her a prominent place in heaven. Originally from Hurley, VA. She has lived in the Norfolk area for 70 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Ralph H. Culpeper; four sons: Gary Williams and wife Janelle, Larry Culpeper and wife Joanne, Barry Culpeper and wife Debbie, and Jerry Culpeper who was her devoted caregiver; four grandchildren Shannon, Lori, Elyce and Bryce and a great-grandson, Clayton.
The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm with a funeral service to be held at 12:00pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Level Green Fellowship Baptist Church. Gary and I are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Culpeper. She was a very strong lady. She will be missed and loved by many. Gary remembers Mrs. Culpeper taking him and Barry to see Billy Graham just a fond memory! We will keep all the family in our prayers!
