Sachiko Selbe, 82, passed away peacefully Monday, July 17th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Selbe was born March 22, 1935 in Yokosuka, Japan to Takeo and Chiyoko Itagaki. She loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, & other small crafts. Mrs. Selbe will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory are: two sons, John C. Selbe and wife Luz of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert T. Selbe and wife Niki of Newark, OH; daughter, Donna Lee Allen and husband Greg of Thornton, CO; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Selbe was preceded in death by her husband William Carroll Selbe, two daughters: Mary Marie Phillips and Jessie Ann Miller; grandson, Kyle Alexander Selbe and a granddaughter, Mary Marie Phillips

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Friday, July 21st, 2017 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at Family Choice Burials & Cremations. Following the funeral service, Mrs. Selbe will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

    I’m sorry for the loss of your loved one. It is comforting to know that your loved one is alive in God’s memory, God never loses sight of them. (Luke 20:38)

    Also it is comforting to know of the time when God promises to end death forever. (Rev 21:4)
