Sharon Elizabeth Jensen, 67, passed away on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 in Virginia Beach with her loving family by her side.

She is survived by Brothers: Bill (Sherri) Wood, Mike (Jan) Wood. Daughter: Melynda (Don), their children, Hannah, Elijah, Molly, Nathan, Noelle, Isaiah. Son: Craig (Sarah), their children, Ethan, Chase and Ryder. Sister-in-love Diana Wood, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Margaret Wood. Her brother Jerry Wood. And grandchildren Ashley Jensen and Samuel Curtis.

The family will be having a private Family Viewing at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations on Thursday, May 12th, 2016. The graveside service will be held on May 13th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake.

    I am so sorry about the loss of your mother/grandmother. Sharon was a special friend to me.We shared our burdens with each other & she always assured me of her prayers.I miss her! I am so thankful though, as I know you are,that she is no longer in pain & is breathing the perfect air of Heaven!

    I am so sorry about the loss of your dear mother. Sharon was a dear friend to both myself and my mother. Her sweet spirit was such a comfort during the sickness and loss of my own dear mother. Very few people touched my life like Sharon and the memories of her will be with me the rest of my life. I can just imagine my mom, Leveta and Sharon talking together in heaven.
    Now they are both with their precious Lord.
