
Stephen A. Poole, 57, of Norfolk, passed away Wednesday, August 31. Born on December 29, 1953 in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Freeman and Melba Smith Poole. He enjoyed taking short trips with Tammy and Daisy, golf, painting, NASCAR, and watching sports on TV.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tara “Tammy” Poole; his son, Tyler Poole, who he loved very much and was very proud of him as he was a Norfolk Police Officer, and his wife, Ashley; a brother, David Poole, all of Norfolk; a niece, Courtney; a nephew, Derek, all of Glouster; and his beloved dog, Daisy.
A private service will be held this Wednesday. Friends are invited to visit family at the Poole’s home Wed. 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Dwelling Place – Norfolk, VA.

I want to send condolences to the entire Poole family. I know it’s hard to stomach but he is in a much better place and this isn’t the last time you’ll see him. My prayers are with you as you deal with such a loss. Once again i’m very sorry and prayerful.
I am so sorry for your lose. I have so many good childhood memories from spending time at the Poole house playing with the boxers. Steve will be missed.
