Susan Ann Grimes, 78, passed away July 20, 2012 in her home in Chesapeake. She was born October 23, 1933 to the late Richard Lee and Adelaide Lassiter and is preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Robert Grimes.

She is survived by her loving children, Vicki Rudolph and her husband, Nat; Russell Grimes and his wife, Barbara; Julie Kurtz and her husband, Tim; Thomas Grimes and his wife, Virginia; Paula Powell and her husband, Stephen; sisters, Linda White and Carolyn Harrell; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Cedar Road at Mann Drive, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake SPCA.
