
Theresia Barth, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6th, 2015.
“Oma”, as she was affectionately know by her family was born February 2, 1931 in (Futok) Yugoslavia. She immigrated to the United States in her early 20’s to start a new life from to avoid the ongoing turmoil in which she came. She loved spending time in her garden, baking, sewing and being with her grandchildren. “Oma” will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Diana Kessler and husband Hank; two grandsons, Hank Kessler and wife Amber and Jacob Kessler; brother, Martin Fischer and wife Wally; and a sister, Katie Scherer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Barth and a granddaughter, Sarah Theresa Kessler.
Service will be held at a later date in New York.

WHERE DO I BEGIN! FIRST I WANT TO SAY HOW SORRY I AM ESPECIALLY TO HER DAUGHTER DIANA(my sister-in law)AND HER FAMILY HANK (my brother),HANK JR,JABOB(my nephews)AND SARA(my niece who was already in heaven waiting for her oma). WHEN I FIRST WAS INTRODUCED TO OMA YEARS AGO I THOUGHT TO MYSELF WHAT A PRESENCE OF STRENGHTH SHE HAD!AS THE YEARS WENT ON GETTING TO KNOW HER BETTER PERSONALLY (with little chats we had or family gatherings)I REALIZED WHAT A SPECIAL PERSON SHE REALLY WAS!SHE WAS SUCH A CARING, LOVING,FORGIVING,AND SWEET WOMEN!SHE BESTOWED A LOT OF THESE SPECIAL QUALITIES DOWN TO HER DAUGHTER DIANA WHICH I HAVE KNOW DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT SHE WAS SO PROUD OF!! SHE WILL SURELY BE MISSED BUT IN MY HEART I KNOW THAT SHE’S IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE(where there is no more suffering)WITH HER HUSBAND AND GRAND-DAUGHTER!!!SO FOR NOW REST IN PEACE UNTIL WE CAN ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN AND KNOW HOW MUCH WE LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU AND MOST OF ALL NEVER FORGET!!!
