
Walton “Buster” Brumley, 83, passed away peacefully August 12, 2016.
Buster was born September 22, 1932 to the late Guy and Madge Brumley in Princess Anne County, VA. He retired from the City of Virginia Beach Public Utilities after 40 years of dedicated service. Buster was member of the Masonic Lodge 274, the Khedive Shriners and a member of Knotts Island UMC and a past volunteer and Chief of the Knotts Island Fire Dept. Buster will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will deeply missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife for over 58 years, Jane Brumley; daughter, Karen Pool; two grandchildren, Jessica English and husband T.J. and Kevin Pool and partner Crystal; and two great-grandchildren, Mya and Nolan English.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Knotts Island UMC. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the church. Please share your condolences with the family at www.FamilyChoiceFunerals.com

Sorry to here about Buster..we worked together at Public Utilities 4 years before I transfer to theVBFD…
We are so saddened by the loss of Buster. Buster was a cherished friend and our home will not be the same without seeing him and his sweet dog stopping by. Rest in Peace Sweet Buster. We will miss you!

I am so sorry for your loss. Buster has always been nothing but sweet to me. I will miss him stopping by to just visit and waving to me every time he rode by. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer man.
